Today, my girlfriend missed our date, so I angrily texted her, telling her if she can't make our dates then we should break up, and generally telling her off. Five minutes later I get a picture of her sleeping in a hospital bed from her mother, saying, "Shut the fuck up, she had appendicitis." FML

Today, our dog became ill. My mom wasted no time attending her every needs and became very distressed. When I had appendicitis a few months ago, my mom told me to “sleep it off” and a friend had to take me to the hospital. She only called once to bitch at me for “doing this on purpose to make her feel bad.” FML

Dude, where do you think you get off getting that pissed off at your girlfriend for missing a date. If anything, you should break up because you're a giant asshole. It sounds to me like there's a problem with the relationship itself, not just you. If my boyfriend missed a date with me, my first reaction would be to worry that something had happened to him. If you don't feel that way when you don't hear from your girlfriend, and instead feel intense anger and fear of rejection, maybe the relationship's not all it could be...?
