Dude, where do you think you get off getting that pissed off at your girlfriend for missing a date. If anything, you should break up because you're a giant asshole. I would NEVER say that to my girlfriend, and I'd make sure she was ok in a situation like that. Seriously, stop being a prick. What are you, 12?
you kinda deserve it for jumping to conclusions, but on the otherhand she could have told her mom to text you AS she was going to the hospital.
You were in the wrong bitching her out so soon, but I guess I could see why. But dont sweat it, you had no idea of knowing she was in the hospital. Go buy some flowers and see her, prove to her mother that you DO care for her.
185- stop bitching, dumbass. he had no way of knowing. OP, kinda YDI for snapping, but at the same time, what are you going to do, cry and beg forgiveness for not magically knowing she was sick the very instant it happened? i think the mother deserves a verbal bitchslap.
It sounds to me like there's a problem with the relationship itself, not just you. If my boyfriend missed a date with me, my first reaction would be to worry that something had happened to him. If you don't feel that way when you don't hear from your girlfriend, and instead feel intense anger and fear of rejection, maybe the relationship's not all it could be...?

And this is why you find out what's going on *before* you freak out.
Asshole. You didn't think to call?
