Today, my girlfriend missed our date, so I angrily texted her, telling her if she can't make our dates then we should break up, and generally telling her off. Five minutes later I get a picture of her sleeping in a hospital bed from her mother, saying, "Shut the fuck up, she had appendicitis." FML

Today, our dog became ill. My mom wasted no time attending her every needs and became very distressed. When I had appendicitis a few months ago, my mom told me to “sleep it off” and a friend had to take me to the hospital. She only called once to bitch at me for “doing this on purpose to make her feel bad.” FML

Oh wow, you don't deserve that at all. When I had Gangrenous Appendicitis AND Periappendicitis, I still had time to drive home for an hour and a half to my dad's hospital. She definitely had time to call you and tell you what happened. Don't hang out with her for a while, she'll have gas.
