Today, my girlfriend missed our date, so I angrily texted her, telling her if she can't make our dates then we should break up, and generally telling her off. Five minutes later I get a picture of her sleeping in a hospital bed from her mother, saying, "Shut the fuck up, she had appendicitis." FML

Today, our dog became ill. My mom wasted no time attending her every needs and became very distressed. When I had appendicitis a few months ago, my mom told me to “sleep it off” and a friend had to take me to the hospital. She only called once to bitch at me for “doing this on purpose to make her feel bad.” FML

okay yeah it was little messed up to just go off on her like that without knowing the conditions but also its pretty ****** up that her family didnt tell you she had appendicitis. i know if i was in the hospital id have my family tell all my close friends. so next time i wouldnt react as harshly but also hopefully someone has told you the conditions.
