Stop lying

By dinosaurman - 07/10/2009 16:07 - Canada

Today, I found out that my sister, who is 16 years older than me, is actually my biological mother. She and my parents decided it was best that I didn't know who my real mother was, and to be raised by my grandparents as their child. I've always hated my sister. FML

Well then, I guess it's a good thing your grandparents raised you, isn't it?

Holy shit... this one isn't even funny. I'm sorry, man : |

I'm sorry I feel that if the girl had sex she should of raised the child or at the very least since she was in the same household been given the title of mother and been forced to raise it. But lying and saying she's your sister is just wrong. No matter how much they want to be they are still your grandparents and your sister is your mother. How sad that rather then making your mother raise you and giving her support and encouragement they told her to lie about it to you and I am assuming everyone else and took over responsibility themselves.

"forced to raise "it"" ... you are talking about a living breathing person here you know.. FYL OP but things could always be worse. At least now you understand why you may not have such a great relationship with her and certain situations in your past are much more clear.

Are you serious? You're talking about taking a living, breathing, young kid - not an "it" - and forcing it on a very possibly immature and irresponsible person instead of allowing two capable people take on that responsibility. Do you have any idea what kind of life that kid may have? Raising a child is not a lesson in responsibility to force on someone because she got pregnant. It's a very serious thing to consider. And because the OP hates his "sister," he sounds a lot better off being raised by other people. Should HAVE, by the way.

You know, I'm all for people taking responsibility for their actions, but you're kind of an idiot. Would you want a crack ***** to raise a child because she got knocked up? Are YOU willing to take responsibility for your own opinion? If you somehow managed to get your way and this woman was forced to raise the child on her own, if she couldn't afford to take care of it properly, or was irresponsible, would you be prepared to pay for the child's psychological care, its doctor bills, its education, or to go to jail because you opinion was that someone who is clearly irresponsible should be forced to raise a child, even if they were negligent or incapable of properly caring for it? You talk about responsibility, it's all well and good for someone to try and force another person to live by their moral standards, but the second they're asked to lend a hand to make it happen. "Oh, it's not my fault, she did it to herself." Who cares about the consequences the child will face being raised by someone irresponsible.

Most children are accidents... I think that raising children is a "lesson" you need to learn. No one is ever "ready" for children. I kind of do think she should have raised her child, but with a lot of support from her parents.

NO ONE DESERVES THIS. I'M SURE YOU'RE A GOOD PERSON, DON'T LET THIS CHANGE THAT.

did u ever ask who your "grandparents" were? and the better question whos yo daddy?

... Well, if he was being raised as his grandparents' child, their parents, aka his great-grandparents would be his grandparents. Not that hard to figure out. This really reminds me of that "I'm My Own Grandpa" song though.

Why does the mom have to be called a *****? Sure, she got herself pregnant at a young age, but there are possibilities where she was just ill informed of the consequences. She could have accepted responsibility, but at 16, you are barely old enough to do anything.

this is like that one episode of doctor who

Are you little Tripp Palin? At least you got to meet John McCain. I wouldn't care, but some people would think that's a big deal.

Oops! I meant Trig! We know Bristol had Tripp, but there are those who believe that Sarah only pretended to give birth to Trig, when, in fact, that was Bristol's first baby.

Two rules of comedy. 1) If you get the punchline wrong, the joke is ruined. 2) If you have to explain it, it's not funny. Watch and learn.

That's usually how it goes when you violate one or both rules.

(To the tune of the Addams Family) Your sister is your mother, Your brother is your father, You're ******* one another, You're this guys family!
