Stop lying

Today, I found out that my sister, who is 16 years older than me, is actually my biological mother. She and my parents decided it was best that I didn't know who my real mother was, and to be raised by my grandparents as their child. I've always hated my sister. FML

This is an awful comment. I'm sure they had the best intentions at the time, and as time went by, it became harder and harder to come out with the truth. As long as his parents raised him right and gave him a good childhood, they are not horrible people. Sure they made some mistakes, but not "terrible".

Holy crap, I can't believe people are actually saying this isn't an FML. What the fark?! OP's whole life shifted in a few sentences, yet this isn't an FML? Did he need to fall in dog poop or eat a miscellaneous insect for this to be worthy of the sporadically high standards on this site? I think not. FYL, OP. That is truly messed up. I went to school with a girl who found out more or less the same thing when she was 16...though her sister was actually her mother, and her father...still the father. Eek.

I think most people mean that some kids in this situation are in foster homes or something... but I agree, either way, it sucks. Your friend's story reminds me of an episode of CSI : / "My father hurt me. And I won't let him hurt my daughter!"

You think thats messed? The worlds youngest mother was 5 years old when she had her boy. He was brought up thinking his sister (only 5 years older) was well- his sister and not his mother.

WOW I hadda google that one The mother had begun menstruating at the age of 8 months. At four years old she had already developed breasts as well as pubic hair, her body proportions were a bit amazing But who would inseminate a 4 yr old?!? Major CREEPER!!!
