Stressed out

By amy1023 - 26/11/2009 10:18 - United States

Today, I complained to my boyfriend that I was stressed out. He asked me, "What do you have to be stressed out about?" I work 50 hours a week and go to school full time. I ask him what was stressful about his day, he told me that his "kill/death ratio went down on Call of Duty." FML

Ffft, have you ever had your kill/death ratio go down? It's very stressful.

FYL, I've been there. 2 full time jobs, an additional part time job, and a home based business. The school isn't the stressful part i've found, wait til the bills pile in. that's the WORST. Ex then said he was pissed at me for our relationship because i didn't have time for him. He doesn't even have his own bank account, and sat on World of Warcraft 70+ hours a week.

you whiny babies crying "fake" because you don't think you can work full time while being a full time student need to grow up. I worked full time through high school. If I would have cut back on sports and partying I could have easily pulled 50 hours a week at work. to the op, if you can't juggle school and work with a live in boyfriend helping, never, ever, ever have kids. single life is by definition easy.

What's the point in being in a relationship if ure partner can't be empathize w you. comparing a video game to working n going to school is bullshit

Fake. You can't work 50 hours a week and go to school fulltime, because a 40 hour work week is a fulltime job. There isn't enough time in the day.

A Lesson in Basic Mathematics: Hours in 1 Day = 24 Days in 1 Week = 7 Hours in 1 Week = 168 Still with me? Working Full Time (in this FML) = 50 Hours Studying Full Time (assumed) = 40 Hours Total = 90 Hours Time Remaining = 74 Hours a Week = 10.57 Hours a Day = Plenty of Time I worked 60-80 hour weeks whilst studying at least 40 hours a week for my Masters full time. I was getting an average of 4-6 hours sleep a night, I was getting constant promotions at work and I aced all my university subjects. It's not pleasant or particularly healthy, but it's possible. So STFU.

Sure you can. I worked 2 jobs, 60+ hours a week all through college. I Still had a good social life and my student loans were paid off within a couple years. And MW2 campers are pains in the ass...

in the fml the girl is the only one complaining about being stressed...yet she still asks him what is stressful in his day...then complains about the answer.

The way I read this, it sounded like he asked what she had to be stressed about in a sort of condescending way, as if he expected her to say something like "I broke a nail". For everyone saying she deserves it for complaining... Until you can go a full year, hell, a full DAY without complaining about anything and especially with working and school going on, then hush your mouths. She may have meant that she was only venting, not being a rude bitch. (She may have been, I'm just assuming things here.) Also, the FML here might be one of two things, or possible both. One, her boyfriend seems to be under the impression that his game score is of equal or greater importance to her whole lifestyle, and two is that the boyfriend apparently doesn't have the brain power to realize that a person would occasionally be a bit stressed out from doing so much, and that it is his job as a commited boyfriend to consule her when necessary.

Try working a 13 hour day as a lifegaurd in 110 degree heat. but your boyfriend is still a douche.

Tell your boyfriend I'm sorry about his kill/death ratio. That's always tough.
