Stressed out

Today, I complained to my boyfriend that I was stressed out. He asked me, "What do you have to be stressed out about?" I work 50 hours a week and go to school full time. I ask him what was stressful about his day, he told me that his "kill/death ratio went down on Call of Duty." FML

Ffft, have you ever had your kill/death ratio go down? It's very stressful.

FYL, I've been there. 2 full time jobs, an additional part time job, and a home based business. The school isn't the stressful part i've found, wait til the bills pile in. that's the WORST. Ex then said he was pissed at me for our relationship because i didn't have time for him. He doesn't even have his own bank account, and sat on World of Warcraft 70+ hours a week.

Are people really serious about videogames like this. Being under stress from school and work is different from being under stress from a video game that you *choose* to play. Also, where is the fun in playing a video game that's frustrating? I don't get it.

Then you obviously don't play video games #46.

idk. they're games for a reason. who needs another reason to be stressed over something, especially when that something is utterly inconsequential?

if only you knew the stresses of that game... my K/D ratio is incredibly important

stop complaining about your problems, you should be more sympathetic to your boyfriend, you have obviously never had your k/d ratio go down. stupid bitch

Get down on your knees and start apologizing with your mouth for not understanding how stressful COD is.

People who haven't worked and studied full time will never understand, and that includes significant others and bosses. Been there, done that, so FYL OP, it's nothing short of brutal. Meanwhile FMLsters, making comments along the lines of "just get another job/reduce your hours" makes you sound like a sheltered, selfish child. The real world is quite expensive when mommy and daddy aren't paying for it anymore, and jobs are a little hard to come by, especially if mommy/daddy can't just pull a few strings.

Definite yes to everyone saying she probably needs to work that much to afford school, housing, etc. And as far as everyone saying she deserves it for complaining: you're supposed to be able to vent to your significant other. It's called a relationship.

If you don't want to listen to/read about people's complaints of their lives, why are you on a site called "**** My Life"....kinda like choosing to go the Chuck E. Cheese, and complaining about children.
