for scandinavians its just amusing how the whole rest of europe is completely ******* screwed when theres a little bit of snow :)
It's because we never used to get this much snow, so we are never sure whether to invest money in things to alleviate the problem. Every year it seems to get colder, and last longer, so for us it is difficult to predict how much salt and grit we need and how many snow-plows we need. If we had more consistent weather, it would not affect us nearly as much.
