People are so sure that there is a God, but there is no ******* way on earth that anyone can actually be sure of that and yet people fight wars over this petty crap. In this time of world crisis people need to put aside their differences, and unite over this very REAL subject of humanity ******* up the world beyond repair. If the we can't unite over something as serious as this then i have lost all my faith in humankind, and Bill Maher was right: Religion will end the world. I truly hope that people change their minds and actually forgive each other before it's too late, but tbh i doubt it.

Old people have... different beliefs. My grandmother in law told me at my wedding, "your parents have three lovely blond children, where on earth did they get that little gypsy girl?" towards my adopted little sister. I said, "India." She's old and probably grew up in a time where being open minded and accepting of everyone was not exactly the social norm. It's not really an excuse, but you should understand where she's coming from. She'll probably never understand you, but maybe with time she can grow to accept you. I hope that's the case. I agree with 42. A lot of people dig way deep into the obscure Old Testament laws and say "yes we should live our lives according to these because they're still relevant and the world hasn't changed in over three thousand years," ignoring the fact that Jesus came along and changed everything. Considering Jesus said something along the lines of (this is paraphrasing, because I'm not a hardcore Christian who memorizes these things but instead a spiritual Deist who found it interesting) "Follow these two main laws: love the Lord God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. All the rest of the law falls naturally from these." So all the old dumb obscure Leviticus stuff (saying what you can/can't eat, wear, do, etc.) is just invalidated. Not saying Christianity is the best way to go, but you guys rip it way too hard. Oh, and person with the quote that tries to say ********** is okay? You're even better at retarded interpretations of scripture than Westboro Baptist Church. Don't stick meaning where it isn't meant.
