Today, I went for a run. I ended up being tackled by two cops, handcuffed, and dragged to the station with no explanation. Turns out a house nearby had been robbed and the best description they got was, "A man running." I didn't even get an apology. FML

Today, I was walking back home from a party, when I received an email from our neighborhood watch. It said to beware, because a "thug-like" stranger with a white shirt and brown hair had entered the neighborhood. My hair is indeed brown and I was wearing a white shirt. FML

Today, my man got arrested for starting a fistfight with a cashier who wouldn't let him smuggle out groceries without paying. It gets worse; two weeks ago he got arrested mugging a guy at a gas station, and he's still on bail. FML

Today, my boss entrusted me with his car to run an errand, as I usually take the bus. I managed to get there and back safely before someone slammed into me while I was re-entering the lot, causing major damage. It was his wife, who thought I was a car thief. FML

they have to say why you were arrested if they don't and don't say our amendment rights " you have the right to be be silence...." you can sue

i wouldn't put it past the cops from my home town in Ohio to do this.... they didn't go to police academy and it's a smaller city so they don't have much to do! so yes cops are numbingly stupid, I've witnessed it many times!

If they didn't read your rights you can sue. Not only for the fact of unnecessary force but for the fact that they arrested you without explanation. It is your right according to the Constitution you can not be convicted if you weren't read your rights.

He was not even charged just questioned goof. And you can be arrested and detained with out reason for a few hours. I love the Constitution but more people should actually know it

Umm the law is hat only if you are QUESTIONED by the arresting officers are you to be read your rights. The arresting officers do not have to give you your rights if the are not the ones performing the questioning. And considering the OP was let go, hey probably didn't question him.
