Sweltering

Today, my grandpa moved into the house to live with my family. Along with having to share a room with him, he swears that having the AC on will give him pneumonia, and he keeps saying he's "freezing" when the temperature inside gets below 85. We live in Nevada. FML

That's not how families work. Discussion, reason, and compromises are all myths.

Older people feel hot and cold differently, be a bit understanding.

I feel bad for you but in his defense he probably IS cold. I work at a nursing home in Texas and a lot of our residents wear long sleeves and sweaters even in the summer because they are cold all the time.

at least your AC works. its 86 degrees in my house and I can't do anything abo ut it cause our AC is broken.

That's because he actually is freezing, dipshit! The older you get, the worse your circulation is, so the colder you feel, regardless of the room temperature. Have some respect for your grandpa, you whiny little bitch. Grandparents don't last forever!

And bedrooms aren't unlimited. OP didn't ask for this.

LMAO. I feel your pain. My sister is exactly the same way. I'm more or less 100% Russian, she's half Mexican n half Russian. I also live in Nevada, Reno to be more specific. She ALWAYS bitches about how cold it is, even on a day where it's 85 degrees. FML
