Just remember that just because someone doesn't look disabled doesn't mean they aren't. They could have had just as legitimate reason as OP for not giving up their seats. But some of them were probably just being ***** because OP held up the train.
How long could you really have held up the train for that would make people that pissed? Like who cares if it's 30 seconds to a minute behind schedule?
Yes, it would have been nice if someone offered their seat to the OP but some people are weird. OP is obviously getting around independently. Some people (like OP) would get offended if they were given "special" treatment and don't want to feel like a charity case.
Although I sympathise for your injury, I can see why people are annoyed about the delay. Public transport in England doesn't tend to be great at the best of times without extra delays, and people may have needed the train to be on time to catch a connection etc. where a couple of minutes delay can turn into a much longer one if they miss it. I've had that happen to me a few times and it isn't fun when you're trying to get somewhere.
Bitches will bitch
Not like they HAVE to let you sit down. It's not your right to have someone stand up for you, even if you have a bad foot.
No it's just common decency and respect. Which you, and the majority of the bus seem to lack. I find people like you disgusting. I would have gave up my seat even if it just an old person. With nk disability.
I say this because when people EXPECT you to stand up for them, that's when you don't deserve a seat.
get over it. once in Germany I rode a S-bahn train from Landstuhl to Mannheim holding in a shit; that's over a hour.
I'm pretty sure you can't even compare the two together. Op had to stand on her bad foot for almost 30 minutes, that going to hurt pretty badly.
Sorry but I have no sympathy. I work full time on a broken ankle and foot.
That is still no excuse for rude behavior. I really doubt they had to wait for more than 5 minutes extra for the train to depart. And that still does not excuse their rude response.
Please re-write this. It's annoying my eyes. Anyway, I'm sorry, OP. However, no one's entitled to a seat, including you.
I think I might have misread it, but it feels like the first sentence got cut off. It looks like the second sentence should be connected to the first. It just reads weird...

That's a shame people have to be spiteful like that it's not like you can help your bad foot
People can be assholes. Sorry OP
