"Your" college fund? News flash kid, your parents are free to spend their money however they please. If you want a college fund, save one yourself.

With the prices in the US, you as a kid are unable to create your own college fund. If you are lucky, hard working and go to a cheaper school you might safe up for one semester. Also if it's called college fund and not bank account, then it's ok for OP to assume it's his education.
