The price of love

Today, I got home from visiting my long-distance girlfriend. I spent $366 to get a plane ticket to visit her for the week. The day after I arrived there, she broke up with me and I had to buy a ticket for an earlier flight home. With fees and penalties, I paid around $550 to be broken up with. FML

Sorry Dude. But look at it this way: Experience always comes at a cost. in your case was a very quantifiable cost. Around 550 bucks. Live, learn, and move on.

That happened to my best friend -- spent about $600 and cut her Christmas vacation with her family short to see her boyfriend in Colorado. He then broke up with her after a day of her being there.

Thats when u do not by a ticket back early but find one of her friends who doesn't (even better if she does) know u, the closer the better and spend one extra night. O and make sure she finds out.

shouldve complained and demand her to give you money.

FHL for not telling you before you got there? O if you were like my ex, we had broken up but he suprise visited me to sorry for cheating in person! He probably paid over $1000. Point is i didn't ask him to visit me coz we were over. If this is the case YDI coz sum guys just don't listen. It aint cute when you cheat!!!

YDI for not making your trip worth it. You didn't have to leave early.

#59 Just because a relationship is long distance doesn't mean that the people involved never see each other... obviously if you live half the world away from your significant other you're not going to see each other often, but that's not always the case. My bf and I live about 250 miles from each other, and while that's obviously long distance we see each other nearly every weekend... you just find the cheapest travel options and take turns.
