That's a valid thought. Because if a guy pisses on one it reads positive.

The only way it could read positive, when a guy urinates on a pregnancy test is when he has some sort of cancer ( prostate or testicals, i think also breast cancer). because sometimes a tumor can produce hormones... but i don't know if these hormones are also in the semen...

Its not that bad of an experiment. He's not stupid for testing out his theory. Maybe it could've worked? Maybe it didn't. We don't know.
