It's good that you broke it in half.
Your roommates are douchenozzles OP. use their eyebrow curlers to clean your braces and toothbrushes for toilet scrubbers. Justice!!
I'd give them the benefit of the doubt when you talk to them about it. Few people would actually go through with something like this. At least the sign didn't say, "We agree, your life sucks!"
What did you do to deserve possible death?!
I'd like to think they just made a mistake - surely you can't have pissed them off enough that they'd put your health at risk like that? If they did that on purpose you might wanna consider moving if you can. That's ridiculous.
Have you done something wrong lately? It seems more like revenge/punishment rather than an award...
They're either callous, oblivious, or malicious but for whatever reason unreliable. When it comes time to renew the lease move out. Get a second job if have to. The peace of mind it provides is worth it.
OP already works two jobs. OP, that was a horrible thing your roomies did. I hope you can move out soon.
Call the cops and report it. It is assault, and depending severe your allergy is, attempted murder.
I just don't understand people like you. Do you solve all your problems through police? Parents don't let you in their house - call the police, someone does a prank on you - call the police, someone called you a bitch - call the police. Can't you handle your shit yourself?
No, they probably aren't. If it were a deliberate assassination plot do you not think they would do it in a way that she couldn't see the coconut? Like perhaps baking a batch of cookies with coconut MILK in them? This would work especially well if you covered the taste with coco and made them 'dark chocolate'.
I agree with evgeny2222...crying to someone else is definitely not the solution. If they wanted op dead, op would be dead. Obviously they don't and they're probably just morons that need to be told off...put them in their place and make them think of what a**holes they are
Do you realize people have allergies severe enough to kill them?! If OP went into anaphylactic shock, it can kill her quickly and painfully: body goes into shock, body breaks out in painfully itchy hives, rapid heart rate possibly giving you a heart attack, you shit your self, chest and throat swells shut and you suffocate to death. So YES, and HELL yes OP has every right to sue if she has a SEVERE COCONUT ALLERGY. Its life threatening, and the roommates did it on purpose so they could see her suffer. Epi pens only give you enough time to breathe until EMTs arrive. And you will die if not treated quickly. Some are sensitive enough that just touching the allergen will set it off.
Where is your proof they did it on purpose?
Who told you her allergy is severe? It's not mentioned in FML. She'd probably just get itchy. I'm pretty sure if OP's allergy was that bad, they wouldn't do it. They don't seem to be retarded, as they came up with the prank, so they'd realise they'd get caught on the same day.
"prove they arent trying to kill her" Lol. That's false logic. Let me illustrate it with an example: try to prove you never killed anyone, and if you can't, we'll think you did.
Firstly, as i have stated elsewhere if they were trying to kill her and aren't completely fucktarded they should have done it with coconut MILK not coconut pieces which are obvious. Secondly i severely doubt OP is deathly allergic because if she were, touching the cookies is likely to have rendered her unable to type. Thirdly, why assume the worst of people? If after four years my flat can regularly forget that one of our number has no sense of smell; if after numerous months, sometimes even years people can forget i'm vegetarian; if even after spending almost every hour of every day for two weeks with a pair of celiac ginger twins i can still offer them a biscuit when they say they're hungry; if i can have no idea which of my two best friends FROM BIRTH loves nuts and which one hates them with a passion, i can completely believe the flatmates could forget a coconut allergy. It's not even like it's the kind of thing which would need to come up every day.

There's still a small chance they forgot...but if they didn't, that's just sad.
At least you realized it had coconut in it before you ate it.
