Uh... yeah, she kind of does. It costs more and more to raise kids. It's never too early to start saving for a kid's college education, or just to get by with the monetary needs of having a child.
My aunt got a wooden train bank for my cousin. That sat proudly on his nightstand and everyone would put their pocket change into, and out grandmother made a big donation into. Upon my father moving out of his home, we found the train bank in his kleptomaniac of a wife's closet, totally empty. Since it was mostly coins here and there and the grandmother passed away, no one can say how much money was stolen, just all of it. BAN that woman from your house! See her at someone else's house or social functions but NEVER in your own hone again. Trust me, more things will go missing.
