Today, a customer screamed at me, because her iced coffee tasted exactly like coffee, and she hates coffee. Sadly, this isn't even the most insane person I've had to deal with at this job. FML

some people are just to stupid to live

Pretty harsh considering we're only talking about coffee ;p.

that's what you get for working at a place that sells coffee. Before my first coffee in the morning I behave like a zombie. Slow and brainless, but look at me the wrong way and I will rip off your head and eat your brain. It's not my fault, it's the coffee's fault.

It's definitely ice's fault! When iced, coffee tastes more disgusting imho. Obviously, not drinking it, or drinking it hot could be sufficient!

I feel your pain OP.....I work at a job like that and you wouldn't believe the nut jobs that come in!

Sounds like what this woman wanted was a fuckton of milk, cream, and flavored syrup with just a little bit of coffee to the point where it tasted like vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate, etc. with no intelligible taste of coffee. For some reason people think this is true iced coffee when in fact, its basically just dessert in a cup.

I work at Starbucks. I feel every ounce of your pain.

Who'd have thought that coffee would taste like coffee? Not me, that's for sure.

Coffee is the nastiest crap I've ever drunk. No amount of sugar and cream make it taste good its so damn bitter idk how ppl drink this shit everyday, that's why I drink lattes

You never ever put sugar and cream into coffee. It is an insult to real coffee. It just means that you used low quality beans and brewed them wrongly. Latté is good every now and then, but it is basically just milk that was spiced up a bit. Find yourself a good barista (and I don't mean Starbucks) who knows about beans and brewing and you will not think about messing it up with sugar and milk anymore.

It's a no-brainer, really. Coffee on its own has 0-5 calories per cup. Just get used to the taste and not add anything, and it'll be fine. The first bitter sip aids me in waking up, anyway, along with the caffeine, of course.
