what a dick
report him op that's discrimination even if you aren't autistic
My grandmother (who is a psychologist) once told me that everyone is in some way autistic. Your coworker is an idiot, and, you should probably inform your boss. Your coworker can be disciplined on grounds of discrimination.
The statement that everyone is a bit autistic is just wrong. Someone without autism just can't imagine what it is to live with autism. From the outside, it looks like a few differences, but from the inside, it is a wholly different way to experiment everything.
Look up Temple Grandin. That accomplished woman is smarter than half the people I know.
You should've told him that you thought he had ASD because he is too nosy and doesn't understand personal boundaries.
What a Douche bag. Find other employment
hes an idiot for saying that autistic people are just as capable of working with costumers as normal people are! thats just wrong what he said op!
Screw him. I have autism and work with customers all the time. Customer service is a main part of my job.
Wow, what a moron. I would ask before saying something like that, no matter how rude I could seem. I'm sorry, OP. Some people call me mental sometimes too.
I'm autistic, and I've worked in a retail position for the past five years, no issues. Social incompetences can indicate autism, but not all socially incompetent people are autistic. Many autistic individuals learn social skills and fit into society like anyone else. Unless I explicitly tell people, most people are completely unaware :)

People need to think before they speak...
That is NOT something you just assume about people. I'm sorry. :(
