Today, a McDonald's employee had to correct my math after counting out $2.37 in change. I'm in AP Calculus and am currently learning how to find the derivative of an inverse of a logarithm. FML

No big deal. Simple mistake. I have a PhD in English and misstype/spell words weekly. That doesn't mean I'm any less intelligent.

Who the **** you think you are that someone from mcdonalds can't be smart? A lot of people work at chain restarunts to pay for school, medical bills, etc.

Yea you know since during this economic crisis someone who also took the stuff you feel so highly about taking might be working at Mickie Ds. YDI for judging people where they work, a job is a job no matter where it is at the moment.

people make mistakes. big deal. you'll get over it

YDI for thinking AP Calculus makes you some sort of math God.

YDI for pretending to sound smart calling it the "inverse of a logarithm" thinking that nobody on here would know what you meant. "Inverse of a logarithm" is simply the exponential, and derivative of e^x is e^x. Dumbass.

Thank you! I was gonna post this. But to be fair he said logarithm not natural log so it could be any a^x. But in that case the derivative is simply a^x*ln(a). There OP, now that you know the 'derivative of the inverse of a logarithm' you can focus on counting change.

Thanks for posting this; I was going to. Clearly, the OP is a pompous idiot.

It's Mcdonalds for god sakes, just dont tell them how 'good' you are at math and no one will care, they expect that kind of stuff from chain take-out places most of the time

I just think op should be saying ''FML I study math'' But hey, thats just me :)

I'd worry more about the chip on your shoulder than the "lowly" McDonald's worker who schooled you.

YDI for thinking yourself better than a McDonalds employee.
