Who the **** you think you are that someone from mcdonalds can't be smart? A lot of people work at chain restarunts to pay for school, medical bills, etc.
exactly. not only that, but i'm not the greatest at math, but counting change is rather basic.
everyone who does advanced maths fails at the simple stuff when i did a-level maths i forgot how to do some of the simple stuff, but i was never that great anyway and more importantly, the McDonald's employee had a machine telling them the answer
I work at McDonald's and I am a 5th year senior in college. one of my coworkers is an engineering major taking Engineering Calculus 3 and when I look at him catching up on homework for it when we are slow, it looks nothing like the math I know (Agriculture major with a Business minor here), so, don't feel like that is a FML moment.
Little bit too much information, since derivatives are pretty easy, and don't have much to do with basic arithmetic.
dont be so snobby about mcdonalds employees, maybe theyre studying maths too just in maccy dees to make their way
Mc Donalds employees are most of the time students trying to earn some money. But the deriverate of an invest logarithm... I kind of learned that in highschool. So no big deal, it's not rocket science. I am not voting on this one because abstract calcul and advanced calcul is not the same as simple calcul (i have trouble adding pourcentages to get it to 100%.. i might say that 77% and 33% make 100, which is false).
mmmm alphabet soup
I love when ******* idiots like #40 fail to see obvious jokes and try to correct them.
All this proves is that right now, for you, knowing how to calculate the derivative of *anything* has no bearing at all on what a douche you are. I take that back - it seems to have expedited the process..

No big deal. Simple mistake. I have a PhD in English and misstype/spell words weekly. That doesn't mean I'm any less intelligent.
