Today, after 3 long hours of mowing the lawn with a rusty lawn mower, my dad finally decided to tell me that he didn't get any money out to pay me with. The reason? He didn't think girls could mow a lawn and was expecting me to give up. FML

OP you're an idiot for thinking you had a major accomplishment for mowing a lawn with a riding mower. And as for thinking your dad owed you ANYTHING, stfu and quit being a spoiled bitch! I'm pretty sure he's done enough by letting you live rent free, buying your clothes, food and everything else.

It didn't, it said "rusty" lawn mower, I guess people mistook "rusty" for "riding" or something like that. Or they're just saying it's the kind you ride on just to be a dick.

You're a spoiled child if you expect your parents to pay for chores you do... children are supposed to do chores to help out around the house and contribute to the family, not because you're doing your parents a favour. They feed, clothe, and put up with your "unique and special" teenage angst, so you owe them, not the other way around.

Um, it doesn't say anywhere that it was a riding lawn mower, so I don't know what all of you jerks are freaking out about. And the OP isn't spoiled. If the father SAID that he was going to pay her, the didn't because he was sexist, then how the hell is she being spoiled?
