This reminds me of the time my baby brother and I were playing Hide-and-Seek, and he was hiding in the oven, but it was also my wife's birthday, so I preheated the oven to make a cake, and I'd rather not finish the rest of the story.
DrAwesome, you have several screws loose. You should get that checked out.
lol @ drawesome docbasterd he was makin a joke don't take shit seriously
It's all right. I feel that I've done something to upset the Doc lately, like... ... existing.

Lmao DUMMY , yu should`ve checked the oven first DUHH !
YDI, could you not have found a better place to hide a CAKE than an oven...? Smooth.

saywhaaat, why did you put a picture of that girl up? it's not even you, I've seen that picture a million times, don't act like no one would notice.
Yum yum, I'll take 2 slices please. XD
what kind of oven needs to pre heat for 30 mins? mine doesn't need to pre heat at all.... Do you have a really old gas oven?
Your oven needs to preheat for most things; you just don't know how to use it properly.
Nope my oven doesn't need any pre heating, I can put things in the cold oven, turn it on and cook them for the exact time in the recipie and they will be perfectly done.
Yeah I was wondering the same.. 30 minutes seems a bit too long.. my oven takes at most 7 or 8 minutes to get to desired temperatures, if I set it higher (but often I'll do as you said and just put it in there frozen from the start and add a few minutes since the heating time sorta counts as cook time)
Agreed. Even if you're making frozen mozerella sticks that came from a bag it'll say preheat to 325 or something.
I don't think she meant that it needed to be preheated for 30 minutes in order to cook properly... I think she just meant that she had it turned on for 30 min. She could have been doing something during that half hour. Maybe she was assembling the "special" meatloaf :P I mean, that's what I do. Turn the oven on, then start to actually make the food. That way, once you're done making it, you can just immediately pop it in the oven, and not wait for it to heat up.

Check before you cook.
I don't think that was a pun...
