the silver lining is that you learned a valuable lesson about women today. most women don't like it when you are extra nice to them and they don't want you to do everything for them. I know it doesn't make sense but you'll be happier if you just try not to think about it.

ugh, guys will never get this phenomenon. My boyfriend is extremely nice to me. Caters to most of my needs. He treats me like a damn princess. BUT he's not a ******* doormat. If there's something he doesn't want to do or that he doesn't agree with, he says so. There's a difference between being a whiny little sniveling bitch and being a good man. Girls usually want a good man, not an overly needy bitch of a little boy.

Yes, do let this one go, OP. I was in *her* shoes, and it made two lives unhappy. 'xcept that, upon repeatingly offering him his freedom, he cried so badly, I didn't have the heart to proceed. It only worked by actively annoying him. (Yep, I should have grown a "pair").
