Today, after backpacking acrossing Europe for a month, I picked up my dog from the doghouse. No one will listen to me or acknowledge the fact that he's now missing two toes. FML

Today, I got home only to discover my dog was missing. After spending ages roaming the freezing streets calling his name, I returned to find him stuck behind the couch with my chewed-up new shoes in his muzzle. FML

Today, my boyfriend finally let me take his dog on a walk, after two years of not trusting me to keep her safe. During the walk, a car drove by, causing her to run after it and pulling the leash out of my hand. Five hours later, and I still can't find her. FML

Today, I went to pick up my dog from a friend's place since she agreed to watch him while I went out of state for Spring Break. I arrived at her apartment. She’s gone and the apartment was vacated. She won’t answer her phone or texts, and vanished from all social media. I’m still making payments on the dog. FML

I feel terrible about your dog, but you should seriously consider if you are someone who should have pets. It seems that your own personal gratification comes before the love and care of your pet. I understand some people may have to leave their pet because of work or family, but seriously? You left your dog at a kennel for a month to backpack in Europe? That's irresponsible as a pet owner.

I would go ape shit if I found out my dog was hurt under there care... Would sue, not to get money but to bankrupt their asses, and if that didn't work I would put fliers up everywhere of how bad they run there facility. Accident or Not.
