Today, after backpacking acrossing Europe for a month, I picked up my dog from the doghouse. No one will listen to me or acknowledge the fact that he's now missing two toes. FML

Today, I got home only to discover my dog was missing. After spending ages roaming the freezing streets calling his name, I returned to find him stuck behind the couch with my chewed-up new shoes in his muzzle. FML

Today, my boyfriend finally let me take his dog on a walk, after two years of not trusting me to keep her safe. During the walk, a car drove by, causing her to run after it and pulling the leash out of my hand. Five hours later, and I still can't find her. FML

Today, I went to pick up my dog from a friend's place since she agreed to watch him while I went out of state for Spring Break. I arrived at her apartment. She’s gone and the apartment was vacated. She won’t answer her phone or texts, and vanished from all social media. I’m still making payments on the dog. FML

That's why I love my job. My boss and co-workers are thorough (and anal) ******* about animal care, not that I blame them. In fact, that's why I love them. It's a small pet shop, independently owned, and I love it. They also won't sell an animal to someone who doesn't know what the **** they're doing.

The amount of misinformation on this thread is excruciating..... First of all it's called a dew-claw people. Most dogs only have one set on the front feet and can have one set on the back feet as well. Also I'm willing to bet that the dog is missing nails and not entire toes......

I usually hate it when others tell people on this site to sue, but I believe this is a case where you should definitely press charges. It seems suspicious that they're not telling you how the dog lost its toes, which makes me strongly doubt it was an accident.
