Today, after eating out with my boyfriend, we went for a drive, but ended up getting into an argument. I reached back to grab my bag and storm out of the car. He thought I was trying to take the restaurant's doggy bag and lunged at me. My boyfriend would rather save chicken than our relationship. FML

What a dick..especially for lunging at you..I hope you took the chicken and dumped that douche!!

Or they could talk rationally and work it out. Your solution is exactly what a drama queen would do.

Yeah..taking chicken and dumping a guy for going to attack you is acting like such a drama queen. Yeah..they could talk it out, but I wouldn't want to after he went to attack me. If he snaps over chicken, what else is he capable of?

#27: Umm..I've always known restaurants to have doggy bags..some people just call them boxes or take home bags..but yeah..restaurants have had them for a while..

You deserve it for being a stuck-up bitch and throwing a tantrum like a child. It takes two to argue. Try talking rationally next time instead of storming off. If I was him and had a whiny, high-maintenance baby for a girlfriend, I'd pick the takeout food too.

71, You said yourself it takes two to argue. So why is it all the girlfriend's responsibility? We don't know who started the argument or what it was about, but we do know the boyfriend massively overreacted.

It doesn't even matter who started it. She chose to "take her ball and go home" instead of talking things out, then comes here to say how mean and inappropriate he acted. As a woman, it annoys me when I see others use the "tantrum" method to make people feel sorry for them.

Sometimes it's better to "take your ball and go home" and discuss things later when you have calmed down. Her response may not have been the best one, but it is better than sticking around and saying things you may regret later. All I'm saying is that we cannot assume that this is all her fault and that she was the only one acting unreasonably. Based on the boyfriend lunging at her when he thought she was trying to take the food, it seems likely that he was acting unreasonably too. Neither of them were likely in the right frame of mind to discuss anything rationally.

Oh your one of those girls with the high drama drive. He probably realized your not worth his time and would rather spend his time eating the chicken. Drama=fail Guys don't like drama. Leave the mind games and drama for your girlfriends.

maybe he didnt have enough at the resturant.

I can't believe he would consider the chicken more important than the relationship. That's horrible. If it was beef, on the other hand, I would understand and tell you he was completely justified.

Is your boyfriend named Leeroy Jenkins?
