Today, after frantically searching my house and office and calling every place I'd visited in the last 24 hours, I finally found my phone in my fridge. FML

I can't be the only one wondering what the backstory of this FML is

I think that happens more than people want to admit. I have put the milk in the pantry and the box of cereal in the fridge. Not been able to find my phone while I'm talking on it and looked for my car keys after I had start the car. In my case maybe it's cause for alarm but the point is don't be too embarrassed.

I have never lost my phone in the freezer, but I have looked there when it was lost.

How did you call the places if you didn't have your phone?

To me, this screams pregnant brain. But I've been talking to a pregnant woman today so that might be why.

I've searched my house and car for my phone, tore the place up. When I looked down my phone was in my hand the whole time. such is my life. I blame it on working nights?

That's actually pretty good! My dad usually loses his phone because he's left it on top of the car and then driven off. Thusly destroying it! Usually, my toddler gets to mine and we find it eventually. XD I don't care too much. I rarely get texts or calls, so.. meh.

I read somewhere that 15% of lost TV remotes are found in the refrigerator. Wonder what the numbers are on this phenomenon?

you're awesome! this is my favorite, mostly because it sounds like something I would do.

I have actually totally done this, except with my wallet. I threw my wallet in a random bag, and apparently that was the bag that didn't need anything taken out of it, because it was all steaks we were going to eat that night. I freaked out, cancelled plans, and finally decided to call it quits for the night. Dad takes bag out of fridge, says "wtf", and everyone is happy.
