Today, my patient, a chubby little girl, stood on a scale to measure her weight. She was 5 years-old and weighed 65 lbs. I started giving her advice on eating healthy: fruits, vegetables, and more greens. She turned to her mother with shocked look and said, "But mommy, the doctor is fat too!" FML

I know how embarrasing it must has been for you, but is too funny!!! But think of all the years you will embarrass her by telling the story in family reunions (and to her future boyfriends ;) )

First off midget is not the preferred term. It's little people. And if the little person was nice enough they would have responded with ok ill do that or keep that in mind but you do that same thing. Little kids are little and say funny embarrassing things. And it's ok.
