Hour of yoga is good for the soul
You may as well get yourself grounded and use that time to study and do homework. If you're going to get screwed, might as well make the most of it.
What difference would being grounded make if all you are able to do is work, school and homework... Honestly - what is your mom trying to accomplish with a threat to keep you from a social life you dont have time for in the first place?
I read something a little while ago in a magazine about how Yoga isn't actually good for most people. The likelihood of causing an injury or causing worse damage to an existing injury is actually very high. Really the only people who should be doing yoga are people who are already really physically fit. Maybe you should do an online search and se if you can find the article I'm talking about, and show it to your mom. A better option might be for your whole family to do a 20min walk together after dinner. Having an alternative solution might help persuade your mom.
Everyone is always so busy. We are very busy people.
What is she going to ground you from homework and your job? Lol
Well if you have no free time, would it matter if you were grounded?
Hey well on a positive note at least you get to spend more time with your family
Tell her that cardio helps a lot more than yoga as far as heart disease goes.
A 20-30 minute walk would be much better and studies have shown that it increases alertness and productivity, so you'll find it easier to concentrate while working or studying.

And? What's the problem with being grounded if you don't have any time for anything but school, homework and your job? It sounds like if you're grounded things will be just as you need them.
