Today, after having watched a scare story on the news about heart disease, my mom is now insisting that we have daily, hour-long, family yoga sessions together. I have a job, and barely have enough time to do my homework as it is. I'm going to be grounded if I don't take part. FML

And? What's the problem with being grounded if you don't have any time for anything but school, homework and your job? It sounds like if you're grounded things will be just as you need them.

I think cardio is better for heart disease, but I guess if you want to be flexible... Too bad your schedule isn't.

yoga is good for you, helps you focus, increases oxygen to the brain, and promotes overall wellness. at least your mom cares about you, do it for her health at least

If you have to do it, do the sun salutations instead of 20 minutes of Yoga. Youtube them. If you do them correctly they will increase your flexibility and give you a good cardio workout. The sun salutations only take about 5 minutes, if that.

But being grounded is okay, right? Since you barely have enough time (to go anywhere) as it is...

What's easier for you to work into your "busy" schedule? Exercising for an hour a day or being dead 24hrs a day?

Homework and work are always there but not gud health. I think u should take part

Yoga is really good for you, I'm glad she's doing it. And you'll be too when your healthy, have lost weight, and are less stressed. Kudos to your mom!

If you don't have time for your health today, you won't have health for your time tomorrow.
