Today, after meticulously rereading my application, merging references, budgets, academic transcripts and itineraries for an amazing scholarship, I clicked submit, only to remember that the system was on Daylight Savings time, which we don't have in my state! I missed out on $2,500 by 3 minutes. FML

YDI. On the other hand, **** Daylight Savings Time. It's total bullshit.

YDI for waiting until the last possible minute. What if your light went out or your Internet was down?

Day light savings is honestly a load of shit. I knew it was QLD immediately.

Daylight saving time is not for 13 more days. I think you have time! Calling BS on this one.

In parts of Australia we have daylight savings time and where the op is from we don't have it thankfully

Daylight Saving Time in Australia begins on the first Sunday in October, and ends on the first Sunday in April. Daylight saving is not observed in Queensland (where the poster is).

Sucks, but you deserve it. I'm sure you've had more than one day to make that application.

You ****** yourself over by waiting.

YDI. If the scholarship were important to you, you should have checked the deadlines more carefully

We're not even on daylight savings time right now. It's still winter!!

I'm wondering why you waited till the last minute to submit it. Anything important, such as applying for your scholarship, should be submitted early after thoroughly reviewing it so that you can avoid shit like this. Learn from this, OP.

Daylight Savings Time already?! Even here where I am we haven't switched over yet. I wish it was never invented, but thanks to WW1.....

I'm going to pose a crazy idea to you, do you think there could maybe be other countries aside from your own!?
