Today, after my annoying neighbor who used to spend hours playing the cello in the apartment below me finally moved out, I found out that I have a new musical neighbor moving in. This fellow plays the bagpipes. FML

Take up tap dancing and bowling.

Get over it. A good musician needs somewhere to practise. I play the bagpipes too and I've found that no one should have a problem with it unless they are played too late at night.

Unless, of course you work nights and sleep days. When you live on an apartment, you just have to learn to be tolerant of others.

I love that there's a bagpipe player here to answer this! I actually kind of like the bagpipes, they remind me of higlands and cute scottish television series. I would tolerate any instrument practising/loud music playing in the block for about an hour; more than that would be inconsiderate, though.

Your local community college will have practice rooms in their music department. It's really rude to play so loud that it disrupts your neighbors.

I can understand the aggravation with bagpipes (sorry), but to me at least, cello is beautiful... I don't know what's up with OP

Your on the Internet, no one gives a shot about your opinion

Ugh, bagpipes! The horror! I had to endure listening to those during a "Korn" concert and wanted to slit my wrists. Sounds of cats getting raped by a chainsaw isn't music! *** If you enjoy the bagpipes, sorry to insult. I'm just stating my opinion.:P

If it was that bad, I'm really sorry that you may have listened to someone who was not up to performing! Bagpipes shouldn't sound like that unless something is terribly wrong with the instrument or they're a beginner.

I love the sound of bagpipes. It must be a very hard instrument to learn. I can imagine that a beginner would sound pretty bad.

Korn is awesome. Well... Their older stuff is.

Your opinion is invalid. How do you judge an instrument just from one crappy live performance?

40-Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't people usually form opinions from positive or negative experiences? You may not agree with her, but her opinion is still as valid as yours.

It's not an instrument that everyone can enjoy. I would personally love to hear cello music all day, but I don't think I could tolerate an hour or more of bagpipes

I think Adele sounds like a cat in heat being drowned in a burlap sack, but I'm not going around saying it to everyone who listens to her. Honestly, I love bagpipes. Would much rather listen to them than cello. Beginners can definitely be rough, but everyone starts somewhere.

Why were you at a Korn concert in the first place?

You can file a complaint to the police If the break the noise limit

Would you consider moving to a new apartment? I think that is an idea that you should consider.

Yeah, because everyone can afford to move whenever they like •_•

You can poke pinholes in his bladder until it becomes so unpleasant to play, he quits. If that doesn't work, you can try to sabotage his instrument.
