I would so be spending the next two hours putting it all back... what an ass. skip his house next year.
Just put as much snow as you can back on his driveway.
Dude, it's an old man. You do stuff like that out of kindness, not for a reward. Unless you're just a dick.
i had the same thing happen to me but he waved me down and asked if i could do his drive with my plow i told him 75 he agreed and then when i was done he refused to pay so i put a 15 ft walls of snow infront of both his front and back door.
He did and it is not his fault. I know this for a fact dumbass.
you know where he lives!!! and he doesn't know where you do!! Wreak some havoc man!! break stuff or at least throw the snow back. if that was my neighborhood and someone didn't pay people would break all their house windows.

You're missing something--did he ASK you to do the job, or did you just do it yourself, hoping he'd pay you? If it's the former, then he's an ass. But if it's the latter, sorry, but that's the risk you take. You can't ask people to pay for something they may not have wanted. I personally could not afford to pay someone to do something I could do myself--although had it been me, I would have told you to stop as soon as I realized it, to save you the trouble.
If he owns a car, I'd break one of his car's windows. =/
