Today, after spending thousands of dollars and several years pursuing a higher education so I could get a high paying job doing something that requires skill and brainpower, I finally got my first job offer after months of searching. I will be cleaning houses. FML

Can't hire someone without ethnics, after all. Would hate for the workforce to get too homogenous.

I'm dubious as to what you majored in.

58 why are you getting all worked up? Calm down.

That's what you get for doing no job market research before going...

because job markets dont change over several years of studying...idiot.

If you're poor, then you should DEFINITELY try to go to college. My parents are divorced & my mom doesn't make much so I was able to go to a pretty good University (almost had to go to a junior college) because the state paid for it. It's my junior year and it's the first time I've had to think about paying for any of my education. Most of my grant money is in for next semester & if the rest doesn't come in then I'll just owe $660.
