Today, after weeks of my crazy girlfriend avoiding me because she knew I wanted to break up with her, I had no option but to do it by text. She told all my friends, who now think I'm a coward who isn't man enough to break up in person. They didn't even ask for my side of the story. FML

Today, I had to break up with my girlfriend on her request because she "didn't have the heart to do it." Within twenty minutes I'd received 4 calls from mutual friends, including my best friend, telling me what a jerk I am. And one from my mom. FML

Today, I received a text from my boyfriend breaking up with me. Not only was this a bit cowardly but he'd also sent it in a reply to our last interaction on our phones, a group chat with some of our friends, who started commenting with sad face emojis before I had even had the chance to see it. Today, I sent my abusive girlfriend a text, explaining I was breaking up with her via text because I was afraid for my physical safety if I broke up with her in person. She video chatted me less than five seconds later from our doctor's office, where the doctor confirmed she is in fact pregnant. FML

Today, I got a text from my girlfriend saying she needed more phone credit, so I bought her more and got another message saying "Great, now I have enough credit for this..." as she spelled out a three page message breaking up with me. Yes, I paid for her to break up with me via text. FML

Break up = No longer in a relationship. If OP didn't tell this girl that he didn't want to be with her anymore, the girl would have every right to tell people that they are still together. OP needed to 'break up' with her otherwise she, and everyone else, would just assume that they were still together. I see your point though.

Well am Guessing you became friends through Text messaging. So ending your "Textlationahip" with a mere Text message won't mean anything to you, because you can always TEXTify your own side of the TEXTament (Story). please stay off Girls, they deserve a Man with a heart not one with a TEXT message. loool
