Just go for a course man, I used to be an epic waster, now im in college getting a qualification, trust me if I can do it anyone can, best of luck!
Got for it and get better friends! :D
its good to wanna excel in life, good luck
Ok wtf are they talking about. Clinton actually did fix the economy and bush destroyed it up. Take care of your classes and don't listen to a word those have to say!
On the 1 hand, **** you for looking down your nose at your coworkers for not having a 'real job,' yet your right in the same line with them...YDI...But, then again, ya got hopes & dreams to stand up & be your own person, so good for you...Instead of being an arrogant ass about how you go about it, (which is what your coworkers are chiding you for being), why not encourage then to do likewise &/or partner up with them & create something larger & better than yourself?
Business classes? I really wish you luck on finding a job in that area - I've had an associate's degree in business for years and haven't been able to find any job apart from an on-call part time shift at Dollar General. If you can actually find a business job and put your education to use, more power to you.
With all due respect, college is more about commitment than it is about the degree. In computers many people don't have degrees, which is okay if they can prove they have skills. In a tight job market the first 'yardstick' that prevents a persons resume from going into a trash can is a degree (even if they have the skills). I don't think an associates degree would survive the first cut. It wouldn't for me.
Actually the economy is were it should be. College grads are having a hard time since the jobs aren't there right now. Good luck though eventually they will be available and having a good education is always a good investment. Smart thing to do is keep your current job continue with school courses then leave your job once you have that dream job within your grasp (meaning you know for sure you are getting hired at that dream job).
Sometimes people try to hold each other back. They're being ignorant and shortsighted. Don't let it bring you down.

Except that when Clinton was president, the economy was at one of it's best points in the nation's history.
