Today, an incredibly rude woman came in for a hairdressing appointment. I had to put up with being yelled at and called a "clumsy bitch," a "pleb," and other insults for almost half an hour. When I finally managed to finish her hair, instead of tipping me, she spat at my feet and stormed out. FML

Should've shaved her head. Or at least part of it.

And the next time she comes in... "Oopsy! Was that Nair? I thought it was conditioner! Haha! Silly me!"

I would be surprised if she's married...

Well at least if she comes back on another occasion, she might tip you if she's in a better mood. Versus, if you were rude to her she wouldn't come back. Good for you for not stooping to her level.

Wow. You should have shaved her hair and said "oops did I do that?" In a really sarcastic manner.

I'm a hairdresser myself, and I've had clients who are completely ******* psychotic, but biting your tongue and staying professional was the best thing you could've done. It's better to just try to deal with it the best you can instead of snapping and possibly losing your job!

I would of made her leave!! What a bitch..

This reminds me of the time I worked in food service and an overly rude man made a HUGE ordeal out of a simple and easily corrected sandwich mishap. In his infinite wisdom he forgot that you do not piss off the person who is making your food. I spit in his food. I felt better knowing he got what he deserved. As wrong as it was to do I would do it again if the situation warranted it.

My brothers ex-wife was always vile to her hair stylist. She would yell and make threats the entire time her hair was being done. People are horrible to act like that. I would think the last person you'd want to piss off would be the person cutting your hair. FYL OP
