deebroooo tells us more.
A street that didn't have a specific turning lane. And to clarify my blinker was on. Took awhile to turn because there was a lot of cars coming toward so I was there a while.

Well, it seems that we have come to the point where we need to yank grandma's car keys.
Several years ago, when I was with the PD we got a call to a guy who was blocking a left turn lane for a long time. Turns out he died. He must have turned his signal on, felt a heart attack coming on and put it in Park. No one bothered checking on the guy. They just called 911.
If someone honks their horn and is completely wrong just make em wait a little bit longer.
I would have ran her over and not have given her any attention.
There's a lane like this near my place, which is at an intersection for a freeway exit. It is HELL to get stuck on.
Just from reading your story I want to find this lady and punch her in the throat.
I feel your pain, OP. Been through a vaguely similar situation with an old guy who banged on my window once. Apparently I was in a spot he wanted, a spot that was closer to the entrance. Apparently I was "very selfish" because I was "not supposed to be there". Thing is, I didn't steal his spot. I was there minutes before I knew he even existed, and after that, I wish I still didn't. The nerve of some people, I swear...

Was this a single lane street? How long were you waiting for? It had to be awhile of an old lady had time to park, talk to you, get back in her car and honk her horn. This FML feels incomplete in my opinion.
I'm sure other people realized you were in the right in this situation. If anything, people probably just remember a crazy old lady laying on her horn and not you.
