Whether OP means 1st year dating or married, I think it's cute! If they're married, it means he keeps the ring safe, and if they're not, then he loves her and will marry her someday, just not today.

122, if they are already married the FML is even worse. That would mean he took the ring from her and is "letting" her wear her own ring as a present! What the hell? If they are not married, it still seems like he is taunting her with it, so either way it is an FML.
