School projects in my household always ended up being "parent projects". How grumpy it makes them, yet they felt the need to take over completely just to get it over and done with faster!

Everyone thinks I'm an only child. -Love, Sis" "Our religion is full. We are not accepting converts now. -Your local Jehovah's Witness." "Amway products are not for everyone. Try Mary Kay. -Your local Amway rep."

I was in a simular place a few years ago with college admission. The consoler wanted 3 letters from friends to help write her recommendation. I ended up writing one myself from my "cousin" who lived out of state. My two friends had to do the same.
