Today, as a part of my autobiography project for school, I needed to have 2 friends and 2 family members each write me a letter. I ended up having to forge 3 letters. FML

On the bright side, now it's truly an autobiography!

Dipping your dog's paw in ink and making him step on a sheet of paper doesn't count. You need to forge a fourth letter!

If only you were Norman Bates. You could be yourself, your parent, and your friend all at once. Some people have all the luck.

It depends on the.situation... if you didn't have those people available to you, then fyl. If you waited until the very last second and didn't have time to ask people to help, ydi.

Well knowing my friends and family and how they can be at times I'm better off forging the letters myself as well.

I always hated those kind of school assignments. Ended up doing the same as you, OP. At least you have 1 that isn't forged.

School projects in my household always ended up being "parent projects". How grumpy it makes them, yet they felt the need to take over completely just to get it over and done with faster!

That bad? Or did they not want to help? Hope you pass op...

don't you have more than 1 family member? did you give yourself a good review

If the OP did the assignment for real, it might have looked something like this: "I should have settled for a *******. -Dad" "Back off! Everyone thinks I'm an only child. -Love, Sis" "Our religion is full. We are not accepting converts now. -Your local Jehovah's Witness." "Amway products are not for everyone. Try Mary Kay. -Your local Amway rep."

That's sucks. How many people did you ask? You should've at least got the two from your family. That's really is messed up that you didn't.

I was in a simular place a few years ago with college admission. The consoler wanted 3 letters from friends to help write her recommendation. I ended up writing one myself from my "cousin" who lived out of state. My two friends had to do the same.

similar, its not that hard to look it up or let autocorrect do its job. (BTW that's how I just spelled it).

32, since you're grammar policing, *it's. Get your own shit together.

#36, #50, get educated, idiots: http://www.grammar-monster.com/easily_confused/its_its.htm Its - neuter possessive. Didn't you ever go to school? And oh how ironic for Kinky44 to post that. I thought you hated Grammar Nazis.
