I completely sympathize. For a digital photo assignment last spring, we had to take photos of our friends. I had to resort to taking pictures of my brother's collection of the full DVD box set of Friends, and presenting them to the class the next day. It can be tough being a social pariah sometimes, but trust me - it's not always bad. It can make you a more independent person since you don't really have many (or any, depending on how socially isolated you are) people to go to for support.

I feel your pain OP. I hated school assignments that made (wrong) assumptions about who you had in your life and the type of relationship you had with them.

At least you got one.

That seems like weird assignment. What about children without one parent and no siblings? Hm.

Seriously, don't get to down about it. I had to do something like that in high school and forged all of them. Now I'm going to get married at 22 yr old. Don't give up! :)

I always hated those talk about your life, talk about your friends assignments. Well when you're socially awkward you don't have either of those.
