Today, as I finished putting self tanner on my legs, the phone rang. Telemarketer. After returning to the bathroom I put moisturizer on my face. As I looked in the mirror, I soon realized I'd forgotten to wash my hands. My face is now streaky orange. FML

YDI for using self tanner. Tanner cream = instant oompaloompa

I call BS. Unless you had mistaken your tanning lotion for moisturizer or unless you answer your phone with your feet this seems unlikely. You would have noticed tanning lotion on your phone when you picked it up unless you're an idiot.

That's what you get for using self tanner. Now at least your face matches the rest of your body

All the people saying people should self-tan instead of UV-tanning because of the health benefits - if you're that worried you could always, I don't know, stick with your natural skin tone. OP deserves this for feeling a need to be tan.

As soon as I read "Today, as I finished putting self tanner", I clicked the YDI it link. Fake tans and overly tanned people look ugly.

You deserve it. Self tanner is lame.

I don't get the problem. If you put self-tanner on your legs, wouldn't you want your face to be the same skin color? It would look really weird to have tan legs and a white face. And I don't understand how forgetting to wash your hands here would make your face streaky, as opposed to just rubbing it in evenly like you did on your legs.

faux tan is NOT a turn on, evenly applied or not. I hope the cosmetics industry gets this someday and stops pushing it. Probably not until sickly pale is back in fashion though

What's up doc? (stupid carrot joke) So... Did you just grease your hair up into a messy faux-hawk, then pop your collar to try and cover it up?

I definitely prefer self-tanners to wrinkles, leathery skin, and skin cancer. But that's just me. FYL because I hate it when telemarketers call and I hate it when self tanners turn out streaky.
