Today, as I was bagging groceries, I looked down to see a 6-year-old urinating on my shoes and the floor next to me. I told his mother that he should take her kid to the restroom, only to be told to "mind my own goddamn business." I was later fired for arguing with the customer. FML

Today, I was ringing a lady up at the register. I noticed her son was doing the peepee dance, so I rushed the payment process up and handed her the receipt. The little boy says "Mommy" and the mom looks down, then back up at me saying, "Your problem now" and walks out. The boy peed on the floor. FML

Today, I was in a department store with my three year old daughter to buy some new jeans. I took her into the dressing room with me and as I began to take off my pants she yells, "Mommy, you can't go peepee in here!!" I am no longer welcome in that particular store. FML

Today, a customer asked a question I couldn’t answer. I asked if she would wait while I consulted someone else, but she spat in my face and stormed off. My manager saw, wrote me up for refusing to help, and gave the woman a gift card for her troubles. FML

Today, a customer yelled at me so furiously that she sprayed my face with spittle. I had to stand there, smiling and politely explaining that I needed to see a receipt before I could give her a refund. When she finally gave up and left, my boss bitched me out for "provoking the customer". FML

Today, I helped a 6 year-old boy who was left alone at a store to get back home. The kid's parents were grateful, but my mother cussed me out and called me stupid for helping the kid. No good dead goes unpunished. FML

I am from Europe and I keep reading about crazy FML stories of people getting fired because of stupid customers. Is this quite common in America? Is the customer really always right regardless of what happens??? I am quite shocked. Many time have I told customers to f-off, with the support of my managers, simply because we get paid doesn't mean we're prostitutes who can get peed on - with a smile -

Wow. Small, coddled children, with defensive, idiotic parents are the worst. Idiotic bosses who still subscribe to the "Customer is always right"are just as bad. Not to mention it's unhygienic. Hopefully you can find a nice quiet job away from our thick-skulled countrymen. This is why I don't work customer service anymore. #6 is right. Just because a job pays is kind enough to keep up with minimum wage doesn't mean that we should have to be prostitutes with a smile.

That is what makes me so upset about today's America. Back in the old days, they used to whip children's butts for even whining about the littlest thing that wasn't shelter or food. Now, with that stupid law they have out now where you'll be taken to jail if you lay one hand on a child, you can't hit them in public. So if you child acts up in public, you have to take them to the bathroom to whip them. In this case, if I were you, I wouldn't take the child back. I'd take the mother back for being retarded enough to not know what her child was doing, even though I'd wind up in jail, but maybe in that encounter I'd knock enough sense into her. That's what America needs anymore- common sense!
