Black tea is miraculous when it comes to soothing burns. I use orange pekoe because that's all I usually have on hand. Put the tea bag in a small bowl of cold water, let it soak for few seconds, then hold your burnt finger against the tea bag while in the water. The cold water feels good, and the black tea pulls the heat from the burn. And I guess you could brew up some strong, cold, black tea as well and gargle it in your mouth to soothe that burn too. Never tried that before though. Feel better!
