Why is everyone saying YDI? Maybe that's the OP's natural reaction to a spider. You can't fight instinct. I'm glad the thing was okay, FYL though.
Good thing it wasn't a butterfly. She'd have to buy her mom a new monitor, computer, desk and wall.
I hate spiders too, most of them bite. But YDI for not actually paying attention to the surface you were killing it on. Ever think about waiting until it crawled on the desk or another hard surface?
Might wanna go easy on the steroids.
I HATE SPIDERS!!! Once I had this huge fat barn spider drop down in front of my face. I had two wooden blocks in my hands, so I smooshed it. The guts came flying out and I hit me in the face. I was traumatized for months. It gives me the shivers just to think about it.
Why does everyone seem to hate spiders? There are loads of little spiders living in and around my house and we all leave them alone and they leave us alone. When they stray into our areas, we put them back into their corners. Just by leaving them alone, we have almost no bug problem. Same at my dad's place; all the centipedes (and we almost never even SEE them) keep out the occasional cockroach that we had to deal with.
