I get nosebleeds kinda often, I always just roll up half a kleenex and shove it up my nose like a tampon. Problem solved.

So? Many people have it worse than a nosebleed on new years. YDI for thinking "**** my life" over such a little unimportant thing! The rest of 2011 is ahead of you, that's far more important than the exact time of transition. For me this was very "FML I broke a nail!!!" Ugh.
