Today, at 2 in the morning, my water broke. I called my mom and woke her up to come watch our older kid, while my husband and I went to the hospital. After being tested at the hospital, I was told I had just peed myself. FML

I hope YOU know that the doctors and nurses have all seen and heard it before, and this isn't a unique situation. And the mother was probably fine because she was helping her very pregnant daughter. I also hope you know that the whole FML community is laughing at you for being a complete shitbag.

OP scroll back up - read what docbastard said and IGNORE everything else except the "this is normal" comments. Some women become completely incontinent during their last trimester for a lot of reasons including the fact that the baby can position itself right over your bladder and make you piss yourself every time it kicks.

OP, how can you NOT tell the difference between you pissing and your water breaking? Its a totally different feeling and as you already have a child before the one in your uterus currently, you should already know that it is a different feeling. But this isn't really an FML, you're excused cause you're pregnant.

If it was two am Im guessing she was asleep. MIne broke while I was asleep and the first I knew about it was lying in a puddle. There would be no telltale feelings or sounds. Depending how far on she was getting it checked out was the best thing to do regardless of the embarresment.

Did you double check that? cause I was told the same and my daughter was born 15 hours later!!... and because the stupid nurse didn't do the check right they had to induce the birth!!!.. very painful experience!!!!....
