show her a diva cup... one piece, you can use it up to 10years and she doesn't need to touch other peoples trash
It was the thought that counts.
It sounds like she may have utilized used feminine products before, which is obviously a major health hazard. You might want to consider taking her to the doctor, just to make sure that everything's okay and she hasn't contracted anything. There's no telling what sort of nasty bugs are lurking.
**editted** Nevermind
Reduce, reuse, recycle
I feel sick.
There are Eco-friendly ways to deal with your period like reusable pas or menstrual cups. Maybe she should try using those
This was going to be my exact response! There are plenty of eco-friendly options out there OP, many of which have already been mentioned

You should have another serious talk with her and talk about what other options there are.. There are organic pads, menstrual cups, cloth pads, washable pads etc. All eco-friendky. I hope she will understand that what she is doing isn't the best option and it can seriously damage her health. Best of luck OP!
I'm all about "less garbage", but what your daughter did is just... I don't even have words for. Hopefully you were able to talk some sense into her
