Today, at the office, my most annoying client asked me to send her a document. I have now sent it to her over 5 times, in a different format each time, and every single time she replies with, "Not in the requested format". She won't tell me what the requested format is. FML

Read the original request and figure it out..... Or did she even mention it in the email??

Then freakin ask what format she wants it in instead of campaigning. People like you annoy me.

And people like YOU annoy me. Read the last sentence of the FML again, buddy.

Yeah OP, stop campaigning. No one wants you to run for office.

people like you annoy me. OP said that the client won't tell her the format, implying that OP has already asked.

Send it as a PDF...that always opens Mac or PC...

I can't even name 5 formats for documents that would not work everywhere. PDF would be the best option, maybe .doc, of you make it office '97 compatible just in case. worst case would be .txt.

Refuse to send her any more until she tells you what format she wants it in.

Read it aloud and send it to her as an audio file.

Some of the younger posters here may be thinking that there's a solution to people like this. I hate to be the one to teach you this sad truth but, no, there really isn't. You'll see soon enough.

My wife dealt with one of these people recently. The only solution she could come up with was to go to the Crazy's boss for help getting what she needed which resulted in the Crazy sitting in my wife's cubicle, crying. I repeat: You can not win.

Sad but true, there realy isn't a cure for the technically inept. They will not recede, in their struggle to anticipate the paperless office.

Go to her office in a gorilla costume and deliver the document as a singing telegram. You're going to lose this client anyways, so you might as well go out in a blaze of sarcastic glory.
